   Brief history

Nacre or mother-of-pearl is a hard, smooth, shiny, rainbow coloured material that forms the lining of some shells, especially the pearl oyster. The art of nacre inlaying is believed to have born in Middle East. Nacre is used for making ornaments, buttons and is also used in architectural decoration. With infinite combinations of geometry and inspiration of the nature the style in nacre inlaying shows a continous change.
