Moroccan Long Strands

These uniquely crafted necklaces have taken the women of Kenifra, Morocco from being button makers to business women! Each of these buttons have long been intricately crafted to decorate the traditional Moroccan Jallaba. Astounded by the vibrant textures in each individual button, a Peace Corps volunteer introduced the idea of stringing these buttons into jewelry. As a result, 30+ women are now successfully running their own association and button jewelry making business.

These necklaces are a perfect way to add some Moroccan flavor to your wardrobe while supporting the crafts and business women of Morocco. Necklaces are available in assorted seasonal colors. They can be worn long or doubled up and layered.
